Time to Convert To Digital TV

Starting February, 18, 2009, All the channels will stop transmitting analog data. What this means to you is if you have a older non-digital TV, You'll need to get a special converter box to be able to continue getting pictures.

Every Household can claim for 2 $40 coupons from government to pay out these expenses. Four ways you can claim your coupons :

  • Apply online at http://www.dtv2009.gov.
  • Call coupon program Hotline, 1-888-DTV-2009 (1-888-388-2009), TTY 1-877-530-2634.
  • Postal Mail a coupon application to : P.O. Box 2000, Portland, OR 97208-2000.
  • Fax a coupon application to 1-877-DTV-4ME2 (1-877-388-4632).

Thanks for the link... I'll be one of those needing to convert! I have 3 tube TV's and a projection big screen - I also still play cassette tapes :-)
