36 year old hails from a small village in Ukraine is 8ft 5in tall. He also happens to be a certified veterinarian and veterinary surgeon. His excessive growth began at 12, when a brain surgery was performed on him to cure a pitutory gland tumor. This caused the gland to secret large amount of growth hormone resulting in what is medically described as acromegalic gigantism. He has been given entry in Guinness Book of Records as the tallest man despite his refusal to have Guinness folks verify his height. Group of Ukrainian business people donated a satellite dish and a computer to Stadnyk and now he has access to the Internet.
