All About : Four Corners Monument

Two hours drive from Mesa Verde National Park is The Four Corner National Monument, only place in US where four states meet at one point. These state are Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Arizona. Monument is located in desert of Navajo Indian Reservation. Small set up with a visitor center, arts and crafts shops. Ute artisans sell souvenirs and food. The first permanent sandstone marker was placed here in 1912 and was replaced by a granite marker in 1992, with four states seals and flags on it. A small fee is charged to photograph the monument. I have been through Colorado, Utah and Arizona, but never in New Mexico. It is very different than my home in Minnesota!
This Park would be a great place to visit someday :-)
