Rain Pryor : Jokes My Father Never Taught Me

Daughter of Richard Pryor, one of the most brilliant comedian of his times. Her mother was a Jewish Go-Go dancer and she was raised by her Jewish grand parents. Rain jokes about this fact as she felt "proud, but guilty about it". In Rain's 2006 book, "Jokes My Father Never Taught Me", she talks about how her mother was suggested to put up Rain for adoption rather than bringing up a child in a world that was not ready for biracial children.
