Superbug ; Drug resistant organisms

Disease causing organisms are also evolving. Their evolution is towards becoming more anti-biotic resistant, the ability which helps them survive. So over a period of time, people using a lot of antibiotics cure their infections to only those organisms that are still not strong enough to survive. But then there are these small subset of organisms which show resilience to drugs and this ability in them seems to improving, causing them to survive even the strongest of antibiotic doses.
This resistance to drugs is coded in genes of organisms, accumulation of such genes in an individual organism makes it a Superbug.
A recent US government report states that over 90,000 people every year gets infected with superbugs.
