Oprah picks "Love in the Time of Cholera" - Sneek preview

Talk Queen Oprah Winfrey has picked for her next book club selection Gabriel Garcia Marquez's "Love in the Time of Cholera." She describes it as "This is one of the greatest love stories I have ever read". This happens to be the first time in history of Oprah book club that a Spanish language version, which is the original version of "Love in the Time of Cholera", has also been selected.
Noble winning Garcia's novel has also been adapted on screen. Director of the movie is Mike Newell who has also directed "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. $50 million production was shot mostly in the scenic walled city of Cartagena in Columbia. Garcia convinced singer Shakira, who hails from the nearby city of Barranquilla, to sing three songs for the film.
